Skin Components and Proxies
HTML5 skins control the look and behavior of the navigation elements surrounding your topic content in the output for HTML5 targets. There are three types of HTML5 skins: Side Navigation, Top Navigation, and Tripane.
In addition to a main skin, you can also use several smaller skin components with HTML5 targets. Most of these components are used in combination with corresponding proxies
In most cases, a proxy is the element that actually generates the search element, menu, or toolbar when you build output. The related skin component is used to provide a look for it.
At this time, skin components need to be added to a project using the Flare desktop application. When you insert or edit a proxy you can associate a skin component with it, if applicable.
Note Style classes specific to each type of proxy can also be used to control the look and feel of generated output from proxies. For more details, see the Flare online Help.
